Find myself singing, "should have been a doctor," periodically. Glad that I am not-pharmacist instead.
Still consider seeing Max in Fargo,ND in 1977,the most memorable of any concert ever!

Great site! I'd always wondered who the hell Max was, being a Rush fan since I was a kid. Little did I know how tasty their music was... Wish I could've seen them - bet they were hot!

Max played my high school in 1976. As a geeky grade niner, that show was just about the coolest thing I'd ever seen. Just remembered - for an English class assignment, I analyzed the lyrics for "Let Go the Line" before A Million Vacations was even released. Q-107 played the whole album and I taped it, about a week before it was in stores.

Also recall seeing them at Uncle Sam's in Niagara Falls.

I've turned more heads playing Max tunes at nightclubs & parties. The music has integrity, always has. Pass the word: When "Live Magnetic Air" gets remastered & re-released please, please, please include ALL the songs from the show! I wished I'd been front row in the middle. Zooom!-ing forever to Max.
